Design File Licence Agreement · Last updated 13 September 2026
This agreement covers every design-file pack sold on DTMProps. By purchasing and downloading, you accept these terms. In short: the files are yours to build one vehicle with — never to share, copy, resell or redistribute.
Single-vehicle licence
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the supplied design files to manufacture parts for one (1) replica vehicle only. It does not transfer ownership of the designs, which remain the intellectual property of BTTF LTD / DTMProps at all times.
You may
Download the files to your own devices; machine, 3D print or otherwise fabricate the parts yourself; make reasonable working copies and format conversions solely for your own single build; and keep a personal backup of the files you purchased.
You may not
You may not share, send, upload, publish, resell, sub-licence, lend, gift or otherwise redistribute the files or any part of them, in original or modified form, to any other person, group, forum, file host or marketplace. You may not use the files to manufacture parts for more than one vehicle, to produce parts for sale, or for any commercial or batch production. You may not claim authorship of the designs.
Modification
You may adapt a file where necessary to complete your own single build (for example scaling, adding mounting features, or converting formats). Any modified file remains subject to this licence and may not be shared or redistributed. Modification does not create a new work that you are free to release.
Delivery & downloads
Files are delivered as an instant digital download via a private, one-time link issued after payment is confirmed. The link is personal to you and time-limited. Because this is a digital product delivered immediately, all sales are final and non-refundable once the download link has been issued.
No warranty
The designs are supplied “as is”, based on years of real-world building experience, but without warranty of any kind. Fabrication, tolerances, fitment, materials and safe use are your responsibility. BTTF LTD accepts no liability for any loss, cost or damage arising from use of the files or parts made from them.
Trademarks
“Back to the Future”, “DeLorean” and “Fast & Furious” and related marks are the property of their respective owners. These files are unofficial fan-made replica references and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by any rights holder. You are responsible for your own compliance with applicable laws.
Enforcement
Sharing or redistributing these files is a breach of this licence and of copyright. Files may carry a purchase-specific identifier. Breach immediately terminates your licence and may be pursued accordingly.
Optional upgrade
Commercial Pack Licence
The €4,000 Commercial Pack Licence replaces the single-vehicle terms above with the following, for one named licensee. All other clauses (delivery, no warranty, trademarks, enforcement) continue to apply unchanged.
Commercial licence — single licensee
Your purchase grants one (1) named licensee a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable commercial licence to use the supplied design files to manufacture parts without limit on quantity or number of vehicles, including parts produced for sale. It does not transfer ownership of the designs, which remain the intellectual property of BTTF LTD / DTMProps at all times.
You may
Download the files to your own devices; machine, 3D print or otherwise fabricate the parts yourself in unlimited quantity; sell the finished, manufactured parts you produce; make working copies and format conversions for your own production; and keep personal backups of the files you purchased.
You may not
You may not share, send, upload, publish, resell, sub-licence, lend, gift or otherwise redistribute the design files themselves, in original or modified form, to any other person, business, forum, file host or marketplace. The commercial licence covers one named licensee only and may not be transferred, resold or extended to another person or company. You may not claim authorship of the designs. (Selling the physical parts you manufacture is permitted; selling or sharing the files is not.)
Modification
You may adapt the files as needed for your own production (for example scaling, adding mounting features, or converting formats). Any modified file remains subject to this licence and may not be shared or redistributed. Modification does not create a new work that you are free to release.
