Wormhole Emitter v2.1

Description

The Wormhole Emitter is somewhat of a mystery item in Delorean Time Machine circles. To date nobody has been able to successfully identify the original item, meaning that no other Time Machines have a “genuine” part. Instead, the DTM community has needed to “make do” with resin cast replicas (or casts of casts of casts) which have been less than ideal.

DTMProps was determined to change this and set about designing the Wormhole Emitter (or WHE for short) from scratch in CAD using a combination of images and measurements of the real WHE used on the “A-Car”. This, combined with feedback from the DTM community has allowed us to create the first ever Aluminium Wormhole Emitter, taking the level of accuracy capable on a Delorean Time Machine Replica car to a whole new level!

V2.1 of the WHE takes the accuracy even further by using 3D scans to overlay and compare withour CAD drawing to hone in the details even further. Some changes include:

– More accurate fonts used on RECEIVE/TONE…etc text
– Fully hollowed out chambers
– Completely redesigned rear
– Raised RECEIVE lettering (you will have to file this down)
– Much lighter at just under 3lbs.

You will receive a wormhole body, a set of 2 solid aluminium mounting wedges, a laser cut mounting plate and a face plate.

The rubber strip is available separately, and Pioneer TS-1011 speaker grills can be found on eBay.

• Material: Aluminium
• Finish: Unpainted. You will need to paint these the correct colour (if you don’t fall in love with the raw aluminium finish!)
• Part Location: Attaches to Front wings, Roof “T” section, and either side of the exhaust pipes.
• Additional parts included: Aluminium mounting wedges, laser cut mounting plate, face plate and disc bulb holder mounts.
