Crossover Tube Elbow Set (Weatherhead co.)

Description

The “Crossover Tube” is a highly visible component of the rear deck in all Time Machine builds. The original application of these hoses is unknown, but their two-tone blue hose fittings manufactured by Weatherhead co. makes them highly unique and not easy to replicate.  Of course, we’re always up for a challenge, and with the assistance of 3D scans (thanks to fellow DTM builder Dana Gasser), we were able to transfer all of the measurements of the original hose fittings into CAD and accurately recreate every aspect of its design right down to the Weatherhead logo.

Each Crossover fitting is CNC machined from billet aluminium and is threaded together just like a real fitting. They are provided with a raw aluminium finish by default, but can sent out to be anodised in the two shades of blue for an additional fee. Two fittings are provided but you will need to purchase the black AN-24 Aeroquip hose locally as we no longer have a supplier.

We now also offer extremely high quality (8K) 3D Resin printed versions of this item! These are every bit as smooth as a CNC machined part, are 100% solid (no infill), and are printed in grey resin. Resin prints have a 1 week turnaround making them ideal for those that don’t want to wait for the CNC aluminium versions.

 

You will receive a pair of fittings and the Aeroquip hose.
